Your CHANGTANGI Pashmina should be washed as described below.
Remember that wool felts quickly at higher temperatures. Therefore, it is best to wash the scarf cold and by hand.
1. Washing: Rinse the shawl in cold water. Be careful not to rub the fibers together as usual when washing by hand, but gently press the shawl to the edge of the sink. You can use high quality wool detergents (for example: Perwoll).
2. Drying: Press out the scarf at the edge of the empty basin. Then place the scarf on a dry towel and roll up the two layers. Slight pressure on the roller helps the towel absorb moisture. Now the shawl should be placed on a smooth surface for further drying without wrinkles.
3. Ironing: It is recommended to iron the semi-wet scarf with wool temperature. This way wrinkles and creases can be smoothed again.
ATTENTION with heavy rain:
If your Paschmina drenched in a heavy rain, we recommend to dry and iron the scarf as described above, otherwise the threads swell, the Pashmina felts and thus it loses the diamond pattern.
